This past weekend we took the overall in Bodybuilding, as well as Classic Physique, so motivation is probably at an all time high right now. AM weight today was 215, 3 days post show. This week I’ll be doing several high carb days in a row. So far this week training has felt very good, feeling surprisingly strong after the weekend, however I can tell fatigue is definitely setting in a little quicker than usual. I expect that to go away here in a few days. Here is what I did today for Chest/Delts.
Chest
Flat DB Bench Press
*Wasn’t sure how these would feel so I started pretty slow and got a lot of blood in my chest.
55 x 10 (warm up)
75 x 10 (warm up)
80 x 10 (warm up)
100 x 8 (start working set)
105 x 8
105 x 9
Banded Incline Hammer Press
*Used orange bands here to add a small amount of resistance.
1 plate 1 x 10 (warm up)
2 plates w/ 1 partial between each full rep. 3 x 10
Pec Deck
Full stack 3 x 12 (Emphasis on lower)
Barbell Bench Press
135 x 10 w/ short pause at the bottom
*20 sec rest between sets
Delts
Standing Cage Press
95 1 x 15
135 3 x 8
*Shoulders were absolutely toast after chest, then these. Could barely lift a dumbbell.
DB Lateral Raises

Cable Crossovers

Was expecting to do some light steady state cardio post workout, but I tore out beaver dams on the farm for over an hour today. So I am going to call it good on that, due to the fact cardio is minimal this week regardless.
