This session I went for a bit more volume and stop short of failure. Mainly due to a low level of courage that evening and a left knee that didn’t want to cooperate. Again these workouts probably look super short on paper but they are exhausting at my weight, sweating through 2-4 tshirts is typical
Nautilus Lying Ham Curl – several warm up sets with light stretching. If anyone knows this machine, they know are aware of the inability to really rock back and forth to limit the range and go real heavy..probably why it’s ALWAYS open for use. This is the machine that Platz will kill himself on..Oldie and a goodie 1 big giant drop set 10 x 10 x 10 x10 x 10 partials.
Rev Banded Hack Squats – after warm up 3 sets of 15 – 4 plates per side, heels on lowest part of platform.
Horizontal leg press – 3 sets of 20 w/ stack , paused in the hole
Single Legged Extensions – 3 sets of 25 reps, no rest, one leg, switch, repeat
