Cancellation of the Arnold Classic and Peaking for a Photo Shoot

SO, as you all know all major bodybuilding shows were cancelled recently so I’m lucky I got the chance to at least get on stage and see how I faired in the IFBB in Classic Physique – which was ace.  We did, however aim to peak for the following weekend so I continued to diet hard, albeit not as hard as we backed off the cardio off to steady state instead of Intervals.

We also carried out a totally different strategy in the final meals leading into the shoot by shit loading prior and I looked my absolute best EVER…I didn’t look the least bit watery of soft at all…just hard, dry and full as hell.  Literally a better look than past stage showings….which was great information for us to utilise. Here is what the final 72 hrs and shoot day looked like:

Thursday (LOAD)

600C

210P

8L water

Friday(BG stayed in range and no spill – LOAD)

600C

210P

8L water

Saturday (Dry Out)

200C (pulled a carb meal at one point because BG spiked)

255P

121F

Min water 230ml per meal x 6

Sunday Morning

5:30am Meal 1:  2 large croissants with cheese and ham + 1 large apple cinnamon muffin

9am Meal 2:  Large pancake stack + 2 eggs + 4 slices bacon + tons of maple syrup, peanut butter and jam

Water was allowed back in upon waking as well…I got in 2L prior to the shoot

11am – 12:  SHOOT

Looked insane and was damn happy with the shoot pics – check out triv_the _physique_engineer for pics soon.

HUGE thanks to Justin for his attention to detail and those that work with him obviously know how generous he his with his time via text during peak week or any other time  for that matter!
