Hey Guys,
So since my last Log update I was prepping for the Arnold Australia … got to do the qualifiers before Covid F’d the world.
Anyway, this year has flown by and was probably my best offseason to date. I grew better than I ever have which I attribute to several factors:
- More rest than usual been in lockdown VS training clients all day handing them weights lol.
- Moving back to more basic BB and DB work for majority of my training.
- Heavily reducing anti estrogens.
- Change in training style/split….after testing many splits/systems over the years it seems my body responded very well to some old fashion volume over a 6 day split. Not the popular higher frequency low volume programs, which I have ran also.
Anyway, at this point I reached a peak offseason weight of 246-249lbs which is about 12-13lbs more than the end of my Offseason last year and the largest I have been. I still have more to fill out at this height, but very happy regardless.
Time to diet off the fat now and the timing has worked out well…both hitting a tipping point bodyfat wise for this offseason and a good amount of time out, should there be a show ran here in Australia…I am in Melbourne which has been locked down heavily compared to the rest of Australia.
I’ve just come off a 6 week cruise, and a few days off training in preparation for some hard training ahead…this coming week I will run 5 HIGH days under Justin’s instruction at 240P 900C 0F.
