So, it’s end of the week after my recent contest and I’m very happy after a string of HIGH days + cheat sitting 20lbs more than this time last week and not as watery as I thought I would be thankfully. I keen to see where my weight settles to at the end of next week once we start the rebound diet…last time I competed I ended up LEANER than pre comp and entered another show unplanned.
After this comp I realised that I may as well aim high, even though this is just a recreational endeavour, I would still like to do my absolute best so I have decided to make the switch to IFBB and aim for Classic Physique which i think I suite best. My “target” show, should things go to plan is October 2020 which gives me enough time to work on areas I really need to improve namely -thickness, muscle maturity, overall size really…Upper body generally, posterior chain. I’m not addicted to been on stage every 6 months, just happy to be a “bodybuilder” regardless of the goal…training and the lifestyle is what I truly love.
Training, I’v’e changed from a Legs/Push/Pull to Chest+Biceps/Legs/Delts+Triceps/Back split….to give more attention to individual muscle groups. I’m also gonna train 4 on, 1 off given not every day is a super demanding workout compared to the previous program.
With the new set up, the volume is a touch higher generally which I enjoyed this past week (I didn’t train from Friday-Monday so was eager to train come Tuesday)….and as the weeks progress, intensification techniques get employed as a form of progression. Will post as I go.
Rebound gear wise is about 50% of what I used in prep total amount wise:
600mg Test
400mg NPP
Dropped all orals and tapering fat burners.
Fired up as hell for whats to come…heres to a juicy rebound 🙂
One of my best backstage shots …
